Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch! Last year I was hugely pregnant so it was Asher's first time! He loved it! We went to one in Enumclaw by my parents house. They had lots of fun things for little kids to do! We will definitely be going back next year! We're going to carve our pumpkins this week so I'll post pictures of that later.

I'm a terrible blogger!!!

I can't believe it's taken me 5 months to get back on here! I'm terrible!! I dont even know where to begin! Asher is now ONE!!! He turned one on the 20th and it was a fun but sad day! I can't believe how fast the year went! He is such a fun little guy and we are loving being his parents! He is quite an active little boy and keeps us very busy! Here are a bunch of pictures to get up to date and I promise I will be better at blogging from now on! They are posted backwards so you'll have to scroll down and start there. I'm going to post his b-day pictures, and pumpking patch pictures later cause I need to go to bed. But here's a start! :o)

7 months

Last Wednesday Asher turned 7 months old! Time has just flown by. At his 6 month check up he was 18pounds 2 ounces! He's quite the chunk! When he turned 6 months old we started him on solids. We were excited but sad at the same time! He's just growing up too fast! He LOVES everything we've given him! At first he didn't like fruit at all, but now he sure does! We've given him.... rice cereal, yams, prunes, squash, carrots, pears, and bananas. He got a little constipated so we cut back on everything except prunes, pears and squash. Then we started giving him the others again. He's such a good little boy. He actually likes being in the car now! The day after he turned 6 months old he stopped screaming/crying every time we got in the car! It was amazing! Sometimes the only way I can get him to stop fussing is to go somewhere in the car! I'm not complaining at all! :o) He still cries every once in a while when he's hungry, overly-tired, or we've been in the car too much. But that's pretty rare. We just love him so much. He's such a fun, calm little guy. He's starting to get up on his hands and knees but then just falls to him tummy. And tonight we noticed that one of his bottom teeth is finally starting to pop though! No wonder he's been waking up SO much through-out the night. It's been terrible! He's been doing this funny little river dance when we stand him up! It's hilarious. I'll have to post a video of it!

Asher is getting so big and growing so fast! :o) He's a little over 5 months now! I can't beleive it. He's such a funny little guy. He can sit up now but you still have to stay around him because sometimes he still falls over. He got a bloody nose once because I looked away for a second and he fell forward right on his little nose. I felt terrible!! But he got over it at a few seconds. :o) We just love him so much. He's such a Mommy's boy but absolutely loves his daddy! He still hates his car seat and being in the car! It's terrible! I always think that maybe next time we go somewhere he'll be fine. But it hasn't happened yet. Someday....

Four Months Old!!!

Asher weighs 15 pounds 3 ounces now! And he's 25 1/5 inches long. He's in the 70% for height, weight and head size! Last time his head was in the 93%, so he's more proportioned now. :o) He's such a fun little boy. He's usually always happy and smiling. He's laughs so much! He loves his exer-saucer, our two cats, going on walks, pulling my hair, taking baths, getting his diaper changed, reading books, rolling over, playing with his toys, etc. He hates his car seat and being in the car! I'm so ready for him to get over that! It's terrible to go anywhere because he screams the whole time! I have a pack of ear plugs in the glove box. :o) Other than that, he's so much fun. All three of us have been sick these last couple days. Asher is just starting to get better. He still has a terrible cough but his congestion is going away. John and I are still miserable though. :o( Oh well, I'd rather us be sick than him. John and I are going to the Brad Paisley concert this weekend so hopefully we are both feeling better by then! Here are some recent pictures. I have videos that i want to post but I don't know how. So, once I figure it out I'll do that!

Update!

Wow... I've been terrible at blogging! Asher is almost 4 months old now! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by! He's such a funny little guy! He's been laughing for over a month or so now and it cracks us up! He just gets going and when we laugh he laughs even harder! It's the cutest thing! But every time I bring out the video camera he stops and watches the camera. He just needs to get used to it I guess. He's smiles all the time and is a social little man. We'll find out how much he weighs in a couple weeks. He's such a solid, chunky little guy! He's definitely not malnourished! ;o) He's not nearly as colicky as he was but he still has his normal fussy moments. Anyways, here are a few pictures. I have a bunch more to up-load but I'll do that another day. I'll try to be better at blogging! :o)
